This week’s theme is related and, well, this gorgeous girl and I are related! You wouldn’t know it now, but when she was younger she looked A LOT like me. In fact, people would see pictures of us and ask if she was my daughter! I posted a few from her senior session a while back and decided to post a couple more to use for this week because, to be honest, I’m having a bit of photographer’s block right now. Life has been a bit hectic lately with unexpected travel, a death in the family, another new job, and selling a house, not to mention a toddler in the throws of the terrible 2s! I’ve hardly touched my camera the last few weeks. Whenever I have a moment to breathe, I just want to sit and veg out! I just need a swift kick in the rear, friends!

Cai & Cullen brought little man Aiden home to Hawaii for the first time over the holidays. They wanted some family photos since they have so few of them all together. I can totally relate! One of my new year’s resolutions is to take more photos with my little one.
Aiden was pretty serious through our shoot but we managed to get some smiles and cute expressions out of him. Here’s a sneak peek…
