Despite the fact that I’ve only lived about 1/3 of my life here, I was born here and I consider myself raised here. Almost my entire family is here. And nowhere else has ever felt like home to me. Living away from here for so long has made me appreciate Hawaii so much more than I could have if I had never left. I feel so so lucky to be able to bring my daughter home to be raised.
